The head of PACT Radio, John Butt, recently spoke to ABC about the difficulties local journalists face reporting from the border areas.
He told ABC, “PACT Radio works mainly in the border areas. We don’t take a party approach to looking at issues; we take a people-oriented type of approach, we see things from the perspective of the masses. So when you’re talking to the masses, every shade of opinion is reflected, but not on a party basis. So in that way you’re less likely to actually incur the wrath either of the government or of the opposition.”
